I started my logistics career behind the wheel of a truck, which gave me a unique, firsthand understanding of how this industry truly operates. In 2008, I transitioned into brokerage, where I was encouraged to learn every aspect of the business. I took that challenge seriously, and it’s a mindset I’ve passed on to the many team members I’ve trained and mentored over the years.
In 2024, I took the next step in my entrepreneurial journey by partnering with Armstrong Transport Group to build my own agency. My goal is to continue mentoring others while sharpening and refining the skills that have brought me here.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family while I put my health science background to use by staying active through hiking, running, climbing, snowboarding, and training in the gym. Work hard, play hard!
I earned my Law degree in 2024 from ICESI University in Cali, Colombia. While in college, I began my logistics career at an asset-based trucking company in New Jersey, gaining hands-on experience in customer service, tracking and tracing, and sales. I later expanded that foundation through a Maritime Law course and an internship with the state’s largest sugarcane company, where I supported labor law dispute resolution.
At HGL, I apply my legal background by leveraging a strong understanding of liability and risk, allowing me to navigate the industry safely and effectively. This enables me to perform at a high level while keeping my customers protected and satisfied. I enjoy working at HGL because I’m part of a growth-driven team, and I take pride in playing a meaningful role in that success.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. I’m an avid runner who competes in local races, and I also enjoy playing football and training at the gym. I stay engaged with the legal side of the industry and proudly support América de Cali.
I studied Business Administration at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, with a complementary option in Marketing, building a strong foundation in business strategy and customer engagement. While studying abroad, I leveraged my business and marketing background in Miami to help a boutique ice cream vendor design and execute a business plan and marketing campaign that remains in place today.
I also served as a Lead Manager in a cultural exchange program designed to integrate multiple cultures, where my responsibilities included promotional strategy, seasonal branding, marketing initiatives, and team leadership.
As an intern, I worked with a multinational food company focusing on new product marketing, sales, and development. This experience has become a key part of the value I bring to HGL, allowing me to contribute through marketing initiatives that also guide and strengthen my sales efforts. In my current role at HGL, I look forward to continuing to build my business while supporting the customers I currently work with.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family on our farm in the countryside. I’m passionate about horseback riding and playing padel, and I’m a proud supporter of Deportivo Cali.
I studied Law at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Cali, building a strong foundation in critical thinking and professional discipline. While in college, I developed high-end customer service skills working as an attaché, serving as a personal assistant and tour guide for professional athletes and senior business executives visiting the country. My bilingual proficiency and confident, professional demeanor made me a natural fit for this role.
As an intern, I helped develop and launch a company in which I remain a part owner today. While I’m no longer involved in the day-to-day operations, this experience gave me valuable insight into building and scaling a business, allowing me to now focus fully on growing my sales efforts at HGL.
In my role at HGL, I’m drawn to logistics because of its fast pace and constant problem-solving. I take great satisfaction in executing at a high level and consistently delivering quality solutions to my customers.
Outside of work, I compete at a high level in padel and frequently travel for competitions. I also enjoy soccer and tennis, and I’m a fan of Deportivo Cali in the Colombian league and FC Barcelona internationally.
